Anthem Ventura is part a family of churches helping people find their way back to God. The Anthem family of churches is united around shared mission, vision, values, and submission to the Lordship of King Jesus. In our cities, we are working to obey Jesus in helping people find their way back to God.
Safety Guidelines & Loving Precautions
Starting September 20, 2020, Anthem Ventura will be gathering online and in-person in Anthem Communities. We are really excited for the opportunity to start gathering in person. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for this move and we are so thankful for your patience.
We know there are many in our church family who, for various reasons, will not be physically gathering on Sundays, so we have created a few different online options for people, both an online Anthem Community for those who call Anthem home and Anthem Online for those are still learning about Jesus and our church.
As we gather, it's also imperative that we remember we are in the middle of a global pandemic. We have a responsibility to seek the welfare of our city, love one another, and most importantly honor and obey God during this time; which includes doing our best to adhere to our governing authorities unless they are clearly asking us to do something against what God’s word commands of us.
In an effort to protect the vulnerable among us and honor our city during this pandemic, Anthem Ventura will be adhering to the following guidelines and practices for our in-person communities:
When to stay home → Stay home when you are sick, have a compromised immune system, or have been in close contact with someone who is sick. Please use wisdom and discretion, and self-screen before gathering in-person.
Practice physical distancing → Waving, saying hello, and air hugs are just a few ways to greet each other while practicing distancing.
Masks to mingle → Please wear a mask as you come and go and when physical distancing is not possible. You can go maskless once you’re in your spot. Just remember to mask up when interacting with others. We’ll have some extras if you need one!
BYO → Bring your own coffee, bible, chairs, blankets, water, etc. whatever you need to engage well with church outdoors
Family Worship → At this time, we will be gathering family-style and ask that you keep your kids with you during the gathering.
Communion → Prepackaged communion will be served (will not be allergen-free), or you can bring your own elements so that we can take communion together.
Clean those hands → A hand sanitizer station will be available as you enter and exit.
Please register for an Anthem Community → Due to size constraints, we are asking everyone who wants to be a part of an Anthem Community to register beforehand so the host knows how many to expect.
